- Making & eating green eggs and ham for breakfast Or, spinach puree cooked with egg whites and a bit of cheese with a side of ham! And some peanut butter toast.
- Making striped stovepipe hats like the Cat in the Hat's. Note the materials you will need on that site. :)
- Reading a whole slew of great books by Dr. Seuss/Theo LeSieg. Jacob was sure to throw Helen Palmer's (Dr. Seuss' wife) A Fish Out of Water into our big stack. Some of our favorites are Marvin K. Mooney, Will You Please Go Now?, Fox in Socks, There's a Wocket in My Pocket, I Am NOT Going to Get Up Today, and of course, The Cat in the Hat.
- Heading to the library this afternoon to get some books that came in yesterday, mostly biographical about Dr. Seuss, including this one geared towards young people that I'd never heard of but found in the catalog the other day: The Boy on Fairfield Street: How Ted Geisel Grew Up to Become Dr. Seuss.

Oh, fun things to remember to do next year! We were a bit of party poopers this year. I guess that happens when your 4 month old gets shots and is super fussy the whole day! Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
