Tom Sawyerin' it on the Mighty Huron

Okay, so we didn't build a nice raft from pieces of wood with the help of our good friend Huckleberry, and it certainly wasn't the Mississippi, but we did rent a double kayak, made our way down the river that runs through our lovely town, and we even had fun.

It is a 3.7 mile ride from one park to another on the river and they shuttle people back to their cars at the end of the trip. We wanted to go before it got too cold, so we decided to go last Saturday.
