Stepping into darkness
Without benefit of light
Moving ever forward
Into the pitch black night
A steady course of action
Yet an unseen destiny
Forward, faithfully forward
Into obscurity
One foot, then the other
Steadily in beat
Faith's no shining lantern
Its what makes you move your feet
